My brother and I spent a day at the Palisades Mall for go-karts and Dave & Buster’s. Yeah, we’re not experts like some YouTubers are at these games lol. XD
This summer, I planned to take a day to finally rent a car (for the first time) and visit my brother at his college in NJ. So I rented a Zipcar in Brooklyn and made my way to his campus. He’ll give you a tour of his on-campus apartment, including his pretty cool set-up for making gameplay videos.
So our plans were to go to the Palisades Mall, eat lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack, drive some go-karts at Autobahn, and then play some arcade games at Dave & Buster’s. Turns out the Joe’s Crab Shack location closed just weeks before we got there (sad face), so we went to Johnny Rocket’s instead for some burgers.
Then we drove some go-karts, which were pretty fun! Not the first time go-karting for the both of us, BUT it was our first time go-karting at Autobahn. It was pretty fun, though I’m not the best driver. I can drive a real car much better. 🙂
Before we got to D&B, we did get a little side-tracked dropping in stores that had nerdy things like anime and videogame merch. That included Hot Topic, Spencer’s, and BoxLunch. I had to resist all of the My Hero Academia merch… though I really want to get Kirishima and Bakugou figures someday. Yes, KiriBaku shipper here, don’t @ me.
I also got a Cinnabon at some point while Tristan had to do a work check-in. Are there even Cinnabon’s in NYC? (Edit: Found one on 42nd St in Times Square, attached to the Auntie Anne’s.)
Then we finally got to Dave & Buster’s. You’ll have to watch the vlog to hear our random tips and watch us fail and win at the games. XD
